Brenton Holmes 280 A-Grade Games (#15) – LIFE MEMBER / PLAYING LIFE MEMBER

Captain 1992. Best & Fairest 1987, 1991 & 1993. Played 20 years of senior football.  Great Club Man ‘Baker’ was a brilliant back man. He always gave 110% for the Tiger Guernsey. Mainly seen on the half back flank and his dashing runs through the middle. 6 Premierships all up: A-grade in 1996 & 1988. B-Grade in 2000. Senior colts in 1979. Under 15 in 1977 and Under 13 in 1975. Regular Riverland Representative

 

Steve Westbrook 279 A-grade Games (#11) – PLAYING LIFE MEMBER

1994 Best and Fairest. Westy is still currently playing in the seconds and over his playing career has giving the club great service on the field. Knows where the goals are too!

Nick Uren 230 (#16) Captain 2006, 2007 & 2008. Best & Fairest 2009 & 2012.

Reliable half back flanker. Organizer of the back line. Launches attacks from half back. Plays the loose man to perfection. Arguably, he has been Loxton’s best player for the last decade. A True Champion!

Mick Pontt 221 A-Grade Games (#24)  – PLAYING LIFE MEMBER

1988 Premiership Captain, Club Captain 1989, 1990, 1991 & 1993.  A strong centre half forward, capable of kicking a match winning score. He was the clubs A-grade enforcer! You mess with a Tiger, You answered to Mick. Coached the B-grade in the 90’s.

Matthew Schutz 217 A-Grade Games (#3)

Captain 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001 & 2002. Captain Coach in 2000 & 2001. Best & Fairest 1995, 2000 & 2002. Club leading goal kicker in 1999 & 2000. Riverland Team of The Century. Speedster Matty, made the wing and centre his own. Cool as Ice, Works his butt off all day! Rated as one of the finest players ever to play for the Loxton Tigers.

Daniel Evans  212 A-grade Games (#10)

RFL Whillas Medalist 2002. Club Best & Fairest 1997, 1999, 2001. Leading goal kicker on 2003. A hard bullocking ruck rover who would run through a brick wall. Much respected by his team mates and his peers. Not the most stylish player we have ever seen, but first picked ever Thursday night. Tough player who gave his all for the Guernsey.

Murray Voigt 211 A-Grade Games – LIFE MEMBERSHIP / PLAYING LIFE MEMBERSHIP

Captain 1978, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1986 & 1987. Best & Fairest 1978. Coach 2002 & 2003. Murray, nicknamed Humph because of his imposing bear like stature. A utility player with a long kick, another who gave his all for the club.
