South Adelaide  – 1983 RFL Whillas Medalist. 1983 & 1984 Loxton A-grade Best & Fairest winner. Leading goal kicker in 1983. Captain Coach in 1985. Great leader, who was a ball magnet, he could run all day, rated as one of the top players to play in the Riverland either in the mid field or on the ball.

Port Adelaide  – Played all his junior footy at the Loxton Tigers.

Russell Ebert

Port Adelaide  – Played all his junior footy at the Loxton Tigers.

John Falting

West Adelaide / North Adelaide – Loxton A-grade Leading Goalkicker in 1978. Talented, fast, tall leading forward.



Grantley Fielke

West Adelaide / Adelaide Crows / Collingwood – Played all his junior footy for Loxton, was recruited early and we didn’t get to see him suit up for the Loxton seniors.

Kerry ‘BOMBER’ Hamilton

Glenelg –  (Inducted into the Glenelg Hall of Fame in 2013). 1970 Loxton A-grade Premiership Captain, also won the Best & Fairest that season.

North Adelaide  – 1970 & 1971 Loxton A-Grade Premiership player. Leading Goal kicker in 1970 & 1971, Best & Fairest winner in 1972 & 1973. Pat was a big strong marking forward who could control and win a game off his own boot. Was noted for his strong hands and vice like grip on the ball.

North Adelaide – 1976 Loxton A-grade Premiership player. Best & Fairest winner in 1976, 1977 and 1979.
